Mark Zurlini

Mark W. Zurlini is a principal of Palisades Financial, LLC and fund manager to the Palisades Regional Investment Funds I and II. In this capacity, he oversees originations underwriting, due diligence and asset management of commercial real estate transactions in the form of equity, mezzanine, construction development and bridge loans predominately in the Northeastern United States. Mark has been an integral part of the growth of Palisades Financial and the two private investment funds it currently manages.

Mark has in depth knowledge of commercial banking and lending garnered over his twenty years as a banker commercial real estate.

Previously, he was employed with First Fidelity Bank as vice president where he became one of the group's top producers. There he handled large scale projects in New York and New Jersey. During his tenure as a lender, Mark closed real estate loans valued in excess of $1 billion. His expertise in construction lending lead the bank to utilize him in assisting the bank in portfolio and problem asset management, including workouts, restructures and foreclosures.

Mark was also employed with Moresmere Federal Savings & Loan Association as a loan officer for commercial real estate. In this role, he was responsible for originating and underwriting loans of $1 million to $10 million in the Tri-state area. These loans were in all asset classes, including both construction and permanent real estate loans.

He graduated from Rutgers University with a BA in Accounting and Economics. He is presently a Board member of the MBA of NY, Advisory Board member of Oritani Bank, a licensed New Jersey real estate broker and a licensed New York real estate salesperson, as well as a member the Metropolitan Mortgage Officers Society.
