Joseph J. Laquidara recently joined Oritani Savings Bank as Vice President and Commercial Real Estate Officer. His appointment further strengthens the billion-dollar bank's Commercial Real Estate lending activities as Oritani Savings continues to grow and expand its lending profile throughout the northeast.

A graduate of the City College of New York with further education at New York University, Mr. Laquidara brings over 30 years of banking experience with him to this new position at Oritani Savings Bank. Most recently, he was the Senior Vice President of the Commercial Mortgage Lending Group of City & Suburban Federal Savings Bank, focusing on income property lending throughout the tri-state area.

Mr. Laquidara continues to serve as membership chair of the Mortgage Bankers Association of New York, past president of the Metropolitan Mortgage Officers Society, along with membership in the Real Estate Board of New York, and other trade and community groups. In 2006, Mr. Laquidara received the distinguished Certified Mortgage Banker (CMB) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association of America. Mr. Laquidara and his wife Marilyn reside in Park Ridge, New Jersey.
